2025 Summer Intern:
Wolf Josey Landscape Architects is now accepting applications for summer interns. We are looking for a great designer interested in bringing well-crafted conversation, urban, garden, and campus design to our clients.
We believe great design comes from great collaboration. Summer interns will be integral to our design process as strong researchers, designers, and thinkers. The internship is curated to ensure project experience across project types and phases. Because of our holistic office approach, interns will jump into all phases of the design process and be mentored towards handling a variety of tasks.
Intern Responsibilities:
Working closely with principals and designers on project design and execution
Contributing to draft construction documents and revisions
Preparing and helping to coordinate graphic and written presentations
Creating 3D and perspective renderings
Developing outreach materials to share project narratives and updates
Essentials:
Pursuit of a landscape architecture (or architecture) degree is encouraged although not required.
Working knowledge of AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and MS Office
Beneficial Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication
Strong ability in both hand and graphic visualization
Knowledge and interest in regional plants
Demonstrated technical skill, an attention to detail, and problem solving ability
Time Commitment:
Approximately 10 weeks between May and August
40 hours per week
Monday-Friday between 9 am - 5:30 pm

Currently on the boards is a contemporary art museum addition, an urban park for the native tribes of Virginia, 11 acre public park and spring restoration project in central Virginia, and various projects within the historic cores of the University of Virginia and University of North Carolina
