Peter Russell, PLA, ASLA, Associate
Peter Russell is a practicing Landscape Architect with experience focusing on urban parks, plazas, and educational institutions. He has made additional contributions to the field through service on the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Sustainability Design & Development Leadership Team and the VA ASLA Emerging Professionals. Prior to Wolf Josey, Peter worked as a project manager and designer at Quinn Evans for four years focusing on libraries, schools, and urban park and plaza design.
Peter possesses a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. Peter has maintained a connection to his fine art background and currently has an artist studio at Visible Records, an artist-run studio space in Albemarle County, VA. His art practice explores the entanglement of perception, landscape, and climate, through the mediums of video, sculpture, and installation.
